Pr. John David Bryant, “David” or “John David,” a native of Douglas, Georgia, earned a Master of Divinity from Lenoir-Rhyne University/Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and a Master of Family Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Bryant, whose favorite food is meatloaf, is passionate about dachshunds and dachshund rescue, is partial to yellow, and has never met a guitar riff he doesn’t like. Bryant, who has written for Sundays and Seasons and has been featured in a news article published by Shondaland, is currently writing a book on clergy self-care.

Carrie Albritton, mother of Elias, mother of Jalen, chicken rancher, duck herder, dog owner, egg distributor, and chaos tamer, is a Taylor County native. Albritton, who often wears baby food, enjoys quiet, peaceful moments with critters, finds meaning in doing kind acts for others, and always seems to have a Veggie Tales song in her heart. Carrie, who greatly rejoices when she has enough rewards points to buy fries from Mama’s Italian, effectively manages all office functions at First Presbyterian Church.
